The government actively encourages foreign retirees through the Special Resident Retiree's Visa (SRRV) program, making it one of the easiest countries for establishing long-term residency.
The Special Resident Retiree's Visa (SRRV) is administered by the Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA) and offers permanent residency with multiple entry privileges. As of September 2025, approximately 60,000 active SRRV holders live in the Philippines.
